The .sl domains of Sierra Leone

Sierra Leone is a country of about 71,740 sq km and a population of 6 million. During the eighteenth century was an important center of slave trade. At the end of that century, the British decided to free slaves and return to Africa. After much discussion recently elected a territory that would later become known as Sierra Leone. Over the next 50 years, the British navy landed 70,000 slaves in Freetown. They independence in 1961, however between 1991 and 2001, there was a devastating civil war in the country, which plunged into poverty.

AFcom has been officially committed by the National Telecommunication Committee (NATCOM) in Sierra Leone to manage the dot SL.
These are the prices for new registrations and renewals for one .sl domain:

Private registrations are additional $7 per year per domain (By the way, they have not implemented the whois service yet). Three letters domains are premium domains - $250 registration fee will be added to the fees above. It’s possible to register domains under .sl, .com.sl, .org.sl and .net.sl.
